7th Grade Overveiw

This year I have become better at persistence.  Not only at school but at home as well. Persistence is a huge thing to STEM because in fitness we jog a number of minutes at a time and we are all jogging at a steady pace. Every few weeks our fitness teacher increases the amount of time that we run by a whole minute! Even though it was hard for me to keep up the steady pace and run for the whole time I kept on trying to become better at it and eventually I was able to jog the whole time, keep a steady pace, and correctly breathe. Outside of the classroom I use persistence to become better at cardio vascular endurance. I use persistence by running around the block while trying to keep a steady pace and maintain a good breathing cycle. Every time I run around the block I am getting better at these fitness topics. I can now run for about 15 minutes with a steady pace, running fast, and maintaining a good breathing pace.

This specific lab was about the the transfer of energy though objects. We took a tennis ball and a basketball and bounced them together. We found out that the basket ball transfered its energy to the tennis ball tand the result was the tennis ball shot into the air

Book Talk

Language Arts

The Book Talk project is a project we did were we read a book. It was more specifically a project were we read a book and in the end, presented a detailed summary of the book. While reading the book we wrote down different quotes and cliffhangers to include in our presentation. Once we finished we started our visual aid which was a modified cover for the book. Then we presented. Look to the left to see a video of me presenting my book.
